Fellowships
Kathmandu Living Labs provides fellowships to individuals with promising ideas, and demonstrated interest to address difficult problems Nepali society is facing.
KLL fellows receive a monthly stipend (depending on the fellow’s qualifications and experience), a working space with a high-speed internet connection, access to our extensive network, an arrangement for both international and in-country mentorship as needed.

Join the OSM Movement
When we began, Nepal was virtually blank on most maps. Today, a growing community has put our houses, neighborhoods, and gallis on OpenStreetMap. It is now possible to get around Kathmandu with a completely offline digital map, also currently serving individuals, governments, app developers, and businesses.
After the 2015 earthquakes, the map was used extensively to support disaster response. Nepal’s mapping community is recognized as a pioneer in the world today.
